GENALICE MAP as a Cloud Solution (AWS)
To meet today’s customer requirements, GENALICE now offers its mapping and variant calling solution GENALICE MAP on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The cloud solution includes the same functionality and advantages on accuracy, speed and footprint reduction as the on-premise solution – GENALICE VAULT.
GENALICE MAP, is the first
Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data processing pipeline with true population power.
The software is capable of aligning a complete human genome (37x coverage) in 25 minutes or less and produces an highly compressed output file, the so-called GAR (GENALICE Aligned Reads) file. After alignment a VCF (Variant Calling File) is produced in 5 minutes, without compromising on the quality of the output. More about GENALICE MAP.
Large NGS Projects realizable by Speed, Cost savings on storage and infrastructure
GENALICE MAP on AWS is fully scalable, customizable and meets every customer need.
There is no infrastructure-invest required for processing genomics data up to 100-fold faster and with improved quality outcome compared to conventional tools.
High volume NGS alignment, variant calling and even population calling is now accessible for everyone.
The reduced output file, leading to reduced storage requirements, allow running large-scale genomics projects, while tremendous storage savings are realized.
GENALICE MAP and AWS
The additional advantages of GENALICE MAP on AWS, next to its speed and accuracy, can be summed up as follows:
- perform large-scale DNA/RNA studies with no infrastructure required;
- scalable and customizable;
- significant cost saving on storage and compute;
- pay as you grow.
